Privacy Policy

Information you give me directly. When you download a free resource, join my email list, take the quiz, register for an event, purchase a product, or book a call, I collect what you provide: typically your name, email address, and — depending on the service — phone/WhatsApp number, quiz responses, intake form answers, and billing details. I use this to deliver what you requested, provide coaching services, send you emails you've signed up for, and manage events and programs.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site may use cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel). These collect technical data — device type, browser, pages visited, approximate location, and how you found the site — used to understand how the site is used and to reach people with relevant content on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising via your Meta and Google account settings.

Coaching information. Anything you share with me inside coaching sessions, intake forms, or program workbooks is treated as confidential and used only to provide your coaching. It is never used for marketing and never shared, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others. Coaching is not medical or psychological treatment, and session information is not a medical record.

To run my practice I use reputable third-party services that process data on my behalf: MailerLite (email list and automation), ManyChat (Instagram message automation, operating under Meta's platform terms), Meta/Instagram and Google (analytics and advertising), scheduling tools for bookings, Zoom for sessions and events, Notion for practice administration, and payment providers (such as Payoneer, banks, or checkout platforms like Gumroad/Lemon Squeezy) for payments. I never see or store your full card details — payments are handled by the payment provider. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and some are located outside Pakistan (commonly the US or EU), which means your data may be transferred and stored internationally with those providers' safeguards.

If you download a free resource or join the list, you'll receive my emails — a welcome sequence, then roughly weekly messages. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately and permanently. I don't sell, rent, or trade the email list, ever.

If you message me on Instagram, automated replies may be sent through ManyChat within Meta's messaging rules; conversations flagged as personal are read and answered by me. If you contact me on WhatsApp, our conversation is used only to respond to you and coordinate services.

Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe (plus a suppression record so you aren't accidentally re-added). Client records: for the duration of our work together and a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and continuity purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

You can, at any time: unsubscribe from emails (link in every email); request a copy of the personal information I hold about you; ask me to correct it; or ask me to delete it, subject to any legal requirement to retain records (e.g., payment records). To exercise any of these, email info@marriamahmed.com. If you are in the EU/UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; the lawful bases I rely on are consent (marketing), contract (services you purchase), and legitimate interest (running and improving the practice).

This website and my services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

I use reputable providers with industry-standard security, restrict access to client information to myself and essential service tools, and treat coaching material as confidential. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but reasonable safeguards are in place.

Testimonials appear on this site only with permission, and are anonymised or initialled unless the client has approved their name.
